Resettlement Program

The Resettlement program of CCDB initiated with the assistance of the World Bank, ADB, DFID OPEC, etc. through the government of Bangladesh. The major objectives of this program is to identify the people affected by different infrastructural development project undertaken by the government, asses the values of the properties they lost, and finally provide compensation amount to the affected household. CCDB already implemented five projects namely Road Network Improvement and Maintenance Project (RNIMP-I), RNIMP-II, Secondary Towns Integrated Flood Protection Project (STIFPP-II), Third Karnafuli Bridge Project(TKBP), Jamuna Meghna River Erosion Mitigation Project (JMREMP) in 35 sub-districts of 18 districts of Bangladesh and going to implement Padma Bridge Project in the next 5 years in 2 districts of Bangladesh.
